Spirit Tech’s The Music Box is a purpose-built motion-triggered audio player designed for paranormal investigations. It uses a high-sensitivity Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect movement and automatically play an audio track, providing a compelling tool for prompting or documenting potential spirit interaction.

Customising the Music Box is easy. Connect it to any PC via USB-C to upload your own sound files directly to the internal Micro-SD card, no special software or card removal needed. Each card can hold up to six custom audio tracks, and if you need a different sound set, simply swap out the card. This makes it fast and flexible to adapt to different investigation environments.

For more advanced setups, The Music Box includes a trigger-input port, allowing it to be activated by external Spirit Tech devices like the Wave Shel or REM Plus. When these devices detect activity, they send a signal to the Music Box to play audio, just as if motion had been detected, giving you greater control and creative freedom when designing your investigation rig.

You can also tailor the behaviour of your Music Box with multiple track and playback modes. Choose whether a single track plays every time, cycle through tracks in order, or let the device randomly select one for an unpredictable experience. Playback options let you decide whether audio plays through completely, stops when motion ends, or pauses and resumes, helping you shape exactly how the Music Box responds to activity.
