The Directional Static Field Detector (SFD) is a ‘Pod’ style unit with 4 different colour LEDs that responds to changes in the electrical environment in the Pod’s immediate vicinity.

Each LED light flickers to indicate the direction from which the field change originates from.

• Individual LED lights will be triggered when a static field change (Tribo-electric) is detected. When multiple LED lights illuminate, this indicates a very close proximity of the static field anomaly.
• By studying the lights closely, you can deduce which direction the static field anomaly approaches and departs the position of the SFD unit.
• The SFD unit is 9V battery powered, and needs only a flick of the switch mounted on the bottom of the unit to turn on.
• The 9V battery (alkaline preferred) is capable of running the SFD unit for up to 6 hours.
