Spirit Tech began as the vision of paranormal investigator Andy Overton, who first became immersed in paranormal research in 1985. Inspired by John G. Fuller’s classic The Ghost of 29 Megacycles, Andy set out to create tools that were effective, affordable, and grounded in real-world field experience. Over decades, that vision grew into a brand trusted by investigators nationwide.
In 2020, new owners took over with a mission to evolve Spirit Tech’s product range while staying true to its roots. Today, we continue to innovate using modern electronics technologies – including 3D printing and advanced circuit design – while keeping production in Australia.
